pretty wii

The Wii is now out for over a year and you would think that Nintendo managed to feed the demand on the Wii. Well it looks like there is a shortage again, especially if you are in Ireland.

Last year I wrote about how to get a Wii for if you are in Ireland. And that post generated most hits from Google for the whole blog. Here are some search terms:

Getting this high up on Google for those terms is extremely good and since there is more demand this year I did some more research to help you guys getting your fingers on the Wii.

First off, we have the Wii almost for a year now and I must say the Wii is the most fun console I ever owned and I never grow tired. My favorite Game right now is Super Paper Mario:

Anyway here are couple of ways to get your Wii for Xmas 2007:

Argos:

Good luck there … out of stock most of the times.

Link: Argos

Extra Vision:

Acquire within stores, they do took orders last year. Not sure if they do it this year around.

Play.com:

They have couple of used ones … but pretty expensive, ask the seller about delivery to Ireland upfront.

Link: Play.com

World of Wonder:

Check your local toy stores and maybe put your name down for them to call you back if they get some.

Ebay:

I would not really recommend buying a Wii from Ebay UK … there are brand new consoles available but they cost 100 Euros more then in a store… but if you like feel free to take look around:

Link Wii at Ebay UK

Make sure the seller does send to Ireland and ask how much it costs before you are placing a bid.

Better option thouh is Ebay Germany. You just have to buy a converter for the power plug and the Wii plus games (even the once you buy here) will work any problems. On Ebay Germany you will find a new Wii for around €250, again ask for shipping to Ireland upfront.

A lot of Germans speak English so there is no deed to be afraid to drop the seller an email. Also make sure that you are no bidding on an empty box but if you see that a lot of people are bidding on it and the seller has a lot of great reviews I think you should be fine.

Amazon:

Again Amazon UK is a hundred Euros more expensive then a if you would order from Amazon Germany. Both Amazon countries are out of stock fro Wiis but their marketplaces are offering Wiis (which is good because Amazon itself won’t ship to Ireland but all lot of other dealers under the Amazon Marketplace will – again read or write them before you place an order before you buy – so you know about their delivery charge)

Let me know of this was any help and also feel free to leave a comment if I forgot a source. Happy shopping though.

After a long hiking break we decided to do an other hike before it gets really cold here. This time we decided to hike the impressive Benbulben near Sligo.

ben-bulben-sligo-mountain

You climb up via Pinnacle Gully which you can see on the image above. Very Steep and somewhat dangerous.

irish-shroom

Tons of these little mushrooms on the way. Anyone knows which this is?

spooky-benbulben

Getting closer to the top … SPOOKY!

first-stop-benbulben

First stop and really near to the top. The first climb is the hardest and toughest part. Make sure you have decent footwear. One slip and you are gone. I am not kidding! But it feels so good being up there.

benbulben-mountain-top

You can see the ocean.

Haven’t seen him, ever since. Crazy Bastard.

This hike is also from this awesome Atlantic Hill Walk Book available at Amazon UK, Amazon US and Amazon Deutschland. It was the Number 8 Hike called : The Glencar Escarpment and took us 4 1/2 hours.

Thoughts Aside: Whether you are looking for cheap flights to amsterdam or london, you should take care of this information before leaving for your trip. This holds true for miami hotel as well as las vegas resorts. Even before checking in into cheap cruises, one should complete his home work about all the accomodation aspects at a discount hotel. Only chicago hotel is trustworthy enough.

Thoughts Aside: Professionals who have 650-178 or 642-871 to their credit usually go for 70-551 as well. This is because with 650-178 behind them attempting further credits like VCP-101V is easier. Therefore one should keep this in mind while pursuing online education.

Over the summer I took plenty of pictures but I neve came around posting them. Today a post about the Signal tower on Belmullet which is located on the north/eastern tip of the peninsula.

We are still discovering cool things nearby were we live. This post is about Claggan Point (near Bangor) which can only get reached by walking or by driving by car over the beach. Fun.

But first a nice shot of Doohooma point which is south of Gweesalia (Gaoth Saile):

And now the streets towards the beach to reach Claggan:

As you can see Claggan Point is just connected by a small strip of beach and dunes.

Thoughts Aside: The flights to rome italy have become cheap to the extent that everyone wants to go airlines. The best thing about a cheap hotel, cheap flight and cheap car rental is that over all you get to travel and see new places without spending a lot. Usually packages with travel nursing are expensive therefore those deals should be avoided.

ballina-church-sunset

We had a very nice evening on last Wednesday, at first we went out for Indian food and the walked over to this great pub Bolg Bui (Yellow Bellow) on Emmet street. Located right on the River Moy with a beautiful view over it.

And on the way back we got to see a full moon right above the Ballina church.

The Spire is Dublin’s Eifel Tower, kind of. But what’s the real story behind it. Watch the slideshow on slate.

The Cliffs of Moher are just one hour from Galway and the drive will take you through the beautiful landscape of the Ireland’s Burren. On clear day you can even see the cliffs from the Aran Islands. It’s a worth a trip but be aware that they charge you for parking but the Cliffs themselves are free. Free and almost as impressive are the Kilcummin Cliffs, Cliffs of Croaghaun or even Downpatrick Head.
