I just read an article at the Irish Sunday Times about how the Cliffs of Moher it’s selling itself out – Now they are looking for sponsors for some of the landmarks.
The facility at the Cliff of Moher are all nice and stuff but 2 people with a car costs you 16 Euro to visit. Well I never ask that they could a visitor center and all .. I just want to see the cliffs – so I boycott the cliffs (well for now and until I drive by and pay the fee anyways)
And besides, last weekend I went to Downpatrick Head which was for free and was just stunning.
The last picture is of a Blowhole which connects right to the sea – looking down there made me kind of sick to my stomach and at the same time I had the urge to jump in there.

My mother is from Westport and I have been to Mayo several times. I’ve driven to the Cliffs of Moher, but never seen Downpatrick Head Cliffs.
Wish I hadn’t missed them.
